Raised in Houston, Nate Burnham's family didn't plant roots in Texas until he was in the 3rd grade. The saying "I wasn't born in Texas but I got here as fast as I could" has never been truer than for this Naturalized Texan.
Texas is home. But pursuits of life have taken him away from time to time like playing college baseball in Arizona and Utah to serving a 2 year church mission in Moscow where he became fluent in Russian. What better recipe for a songwriter than to be well traveled with something to say?
"Life keeps going and the songs never stop coming.", he said when asked about why he's dedicated himself to music. His latest sophomore album release, "Nothing But Time" carries a lifetime of experiences in each song. From the outdoors in "Anchorage Aweigh!" to the inside of a dancehall in "Last Call", "Just Give Me the Word", a heartfelt song of devotion to his wife to "Ride the Lightning", a steering wheel beating cheating story you'll want to dial to 11, the album offers something for everyone.
He married the love of his life, Kjersti, in 2008 in San Antonio and has 4 kids, Presli, Hayes, Miller and Evelyn.
