2021 TCMA
Songwriter of the year Nominee

"Living in Idaho, I missed Texas. I missed the food, live music, dancehalls, the people, but when I moved back to Texas I found myself really missing the mountains. I thought, if only we had the old Republic of Texas boundaries of 1845 today, then I could have my Rocky Mountains and Texas, the best of both worlds. And that's how I wrote "1845".

about
Mountain born and Texas raised. His family didn't plant roots in Texas until he was in the 3rd grade. The saying that "I wasn't born in Texas but I got here as fast as I could" has never been truer than for this Naturalized Texan.
Husband and father of 4, avid outdoorsman, former D1 athlete, songwriter and professional fun-haver. He went all in on music 2 years ago, selling his business and devoting himself full-time to songwriting and performing, quickly establishing himself as an artist to be reckoned with; opening for Texas/RedDirt legends like Stoney Larue as well as Nashville mainstays like Clare Dunn in 2022.
2023 is poised to be a breakout year with new music on the way and new dates in different states being added every week. Nate brings a high energy, family friendly show with his 5 piece band that includes young award-winning fiddle phenom Grace Partridge who made her Grand Ole Opry debut a few years ago at the age of 16.
